Emergency measures of the Dutch Government

In March 2020, the Dutch government presented a package of emergency measures. This package was subsequently updated and extended several times (information in Dutch)
The aim is to protect jobs and incomes in addition to our health and also to help the self-employed, SMEs and large companies. One of the schemes for employers is the Employment Bridging Emergency Fund (NOW), which allows employers to apply for a compensation of wage costs, based on a loss of turnover.
