Do you know which rules apply to an employment contract with an employee in the Netherlands?

As an employer, it seems logical to offer your own employment contract to your employees in the Netherlands. After all, you are not familiar with the local rules of Dutch employment law. However, if the Dutch employee lives in the Netherlands and works there on a permanent basis, this can cause considerable problems. For example, if the employee falls ill or you want to terminate their employment.

Based on our many years of experience with foreign employers with staff in the Netherlands, we have put together this training course to familiarise you with the most important features of Dutch employment and dismissal law. By following this training course, you will avoid problems, both when the employee starts work and during the term of the employment contract and upon termination.

This study day is ideal for employers with employees who work entirely or partially in the Netherlands.

  • Non-competition clause

  • Termination of an employment contract
  • Termination, dissolution, dismissal by mutual consent
  • Grounds for dismissal and severance pay

  • We offer this training on a tailor-made basis, online or at one of our offices in the Netherlands or Belgium
  • Due to the nature of the training, we have a maximum of 10 participants
  • The price quoted is a fixed price, regardless or the number of participants
  • No travel time or travel costs are charged for a training at our location in Voorburg. If a training takes place at our location in Belgium or at your location, the travel time of the trainer will be charged at € 114 per hour, excl. VAT and travel costs at € 0.49 per kilometer.
