Ascension Day, Whitsun, and our accessibility
On Thursday 18 May 2023 our offices in Voorburg and Kontich will be closed because of Ascension Day, as well as on Pentecost Monday, 29 May 2023. The office in Kontich will also stay closed on Friday 19 May 2023.
Did you know that Ascension Day and Whitsun are not official public holidays in all countries?
Most official public holidays fall in the months of April and May. In 2023 Ascension Day will be on the 18th May, Pentecost on the 28th and 29th May. These public holidays are official public holidays in, among others, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and France. However, this is not the case the United Kingdom and Italy, where these days are normal working days.
